through the production operation, including ingredients in the range of IFC
added value sauces.

variety of sauces range from brine and fresh Caithness spring water, to almost
any sauce imaginable.

Sild/Brisling/Sardines/Sprats,
the nomenclature being dependent upon the area of marketing activity, are manufactured
using the species "sprattus sprattus" and are presented in easy-open
ring pull cans of 106g net weight. These small succulent sprats are interwoven
in the can to produce an extremely appetising and appealing product.
Unsmoked,
lightly smoked or traditionally oak-smoked, brisling sprats are produced in
a wide variety of oils and value-added sauces to tantalise the taste buds. These
convenient products can be served either hot or cold as a sandwich filling,
salad or accompanied by pasta, rice or crackers and are perfect for party savouries.
Healthy eating
is embodied in these fish, which are high in protein and calcium and are also
rich in Omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which have been proven to help
protect against coronary heart disease.

Skinless and
boneless mackerel fillets produced from the species "scomber scombrus"
are presented in easy-open ring pull cans of 105g, 125g & 170g net weights.
These succulent fish are produced in a wide range of oils and mouth-watering
value-added sauces to cater for every taste.
Mackerel
is a fast swimming, surface feeding fish which is rapidly acquiring a gourmet
following. With its excellent taste and texture, it is now an accepted delicacy
in any meal.
If fish is
a totally healthy food, then mackerel must be one of the healthiest due to it
having a higher content than white fish of the healthy unsaturated fish oil.
This not only improves the flavour but also gives mackerel a higher energy value.
The oil contains greater concentrations of vitamins A and D - the latter being
vital for healthy bones and teeth. Perhaps the strongest health arguments for
mackerel comes from studies in both the UK and Germany. They have concluded
that mackerel fillets have a most beneficial effect on the blood system, reducing
high blood pressure and improving resistance to heart complaints.

International
Fish Canners range of traditionally hardwood smoked canned fish products utilise
the species Sprats (spratus spratus), Mackerel (Scomber Scombrus) and Herring
(Clupea Harengus Harengus).
They are produced in 105g and 190g easy open ring pull cans containing succulent
smoked fillets/whole fish in vegetable oil or brine. The contents can be served
either hot or cold as a sandwich filling, salad, or accompanied by potatoes
or crisp breads to create a satisfying, high-quality light meal or snack.
The product is traditionally smoked using hardwoods - a mixture of Oak, Beech
and Douglas Fir. The mixture providing a pleasant smoked flavour which is appealing
to even the most discerning palate.
