Mechanical/Multi-Skilled Engineer

Who are we?

IFC is part of a fast-growing group of companies, including Nor-sea Foods, Nolan Seafoods and J Charles Seafoods with sites in Fraserburgh and Aberdeen. It produces a variety of quality fish products largely under private label for a worldwide customer base. Trading principally in the Pelagic species – Mackerel, Herring and Sprats, Whitefish – Haddock and Whiting, and Salmon.

What is the job?

IFC – based beside Fraserburgh Harbour – are actively recruiting a Mechanical Engineer or a Multiskilled Engineer (with mechanical bias) to work a rotation between dayshift and backshift.

Successful candidates must have:

• Relevant engineering experience
• Ability to work alone or part of a team
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues of all levels
• Flexibility, as shift times can vary
• Experience within manufacturing – desired but not essential
