Mechanical/Multi-Skilled Engineer

Who are we?

Nolan Seafoods is part of a fast-growing group of companies, including Nor-sea Foods and International Fish Canners with sites in Fraserburgh and Aberdeen. It produces a variety of quality fish products largely under private label for a worldwide customer base. Trading principally in the Pelagic species – Mackerel, Herring and Sprats, Whitefish – Haddock and Whiting, and Salmon.

What is the job?

Nolan Seafoods – based in Altens – are actively recruiting a Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineer to work on dayshift.

The successful candidate must have:

• Relevant engineering qualification
• Ability to work alone or part of a team
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues of all levels
• Flexibility, as shift times/call-outs can vary
• Experience within manufacturing – desired but not essential

• ABERDEEN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical engineering: 1 year (preferred)
• Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (required)
